EARLY LEARNING SCHOLARSHIP  /  TUITION ASSISTANCE

WHAT IS AN EARLY LEARNING SCHOLARSHIP?

Early Learning Scholarships can help eligible family's pay for high-quality early education programs to help prepare your child for school. Programs must be Parent Aware-Rated in order to provide these scholarships. St. Charles offers a Star Rated Parent Aware Program.

PATHWAY I SCHOLARSHIP

Applications must be filled out by the family and mailed into Families First. These applications are not received by St. Charles Early Childhood but instead must go through the Area Administrator at Families First.

As of July 16, 2024, the Pathway I Early Learning Scholarship application can be completed online! To create an account, visit the Early Learning Scholarships Hub, or copy and paste this URL into a new browser window to go to the Early Learning Scholarship Hub: EarlyLearningScholarshipsHub.mn.gov

By creating an account, you will be able to easily complete the application and upload required documents, receive email updates, check the status of your application, apply for other children in your household, and renew when it’s time. Notices of award, renewal, and status updates will now be managed primarily via email.

While we encourage everyone to use the online portal, it is not a requirement to create an account and paper applications are available through your local Area Administrator serving your county. Either way you choose to apply, you can always contact your local Area Administrator with questions or for more information about the program.

If your child receives this scholarship, please communicate with the Community Education Coordinator, on your next steps. communityed@schs.k12.mn.us or 932-4910
